Flight Operations Training Standards Coordinator

Position Summary:

Under the supervision of the Director of Flight Operations Training, the Flight Ops Training Standards Coordinator will be responsible for ensuring the accurate audit of all Flight Operations audit training course material and will manage the integrity of the Calm Air training system. They will conduct regular follow ups to employees ensuring completion of all mandatory courses.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

Support the administrative function of all Flight Operations training programs and activities

Become a specialist within the Calm Air Learning Management System and participate with sister companies on group initiatives, guided system design and contract administrators

Support the Flight Operations Training initiatives and assist with the management and administration of all course material

Ensure LMS training courses are scheduled appropriately and assigned with Flight Ops compliance training standardsConduct regular organizational follow-ups ensuring employees completion of mandatory assigned courses

Support the Flight Operations department with scheduling and arrangement of training activities

Administer all relevant updates to course material as per the direction of the Director of Flight Operations Training

Other duties as assigned

Qualifications & Skills:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED)

Post-secondary education in related field considered an asset

Previous aviation experience considered an asset

Previous experience working within a Learning Management System requiredComputer skills (MS Office) with emphasis on Excel

Ability to effectively communicate orally and written

Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy

Ability to manage multiple priorities within tight deadlines

Ability to work with minimal supervision and in a team environment

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Excellent organizational skills

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including plain language with an ability to express ideas, concepts, and recommendations to diverse audiences in a variety of channels

Ability to obtain and maintain all required enhanced security clearancesInuktitut language considered an asset

Preference will be given to Inuit Land Claims Beneficiaries
